So, lately I've fallen in love with a sadly under-rated Nintendo DS game called Sola to Robo, a game that - while easy - impressed me with it's impressive soundtrack and visuals for an aging console, the nostalgic gameplay, and the artwork that sports so much more love and character that so many modern games seem to have lost. One thing that popped up in my mind is how the main character - Red Savarin - and his robot - the Dahak - would make excellent Smash Bros. characters. Then my mind wandered back to the realm of miniatures; wouldn't it be fun to have a game that's based on robots man-handling each other? So my curious and creative side turns to you all; I want to make a model of the Dahak. The scale isn't important; what I'm trying to go for is ease of conversion and possibly even ease of replication, should I try to make it in multiple poses.

For those of you who have not played Sola to Robo, here's some artwork of/involving the Dahak:

What parts would be good to use for this? What systems might such a model be suitable for? What scale would be the best for approaching a project like this?
