I'm looking to put some life back into my dark eldar, so I want to try a new sort of army.

I've decided to begin collecting some peices to a coven, but I'm a bit weary on the list building. What is the best way to go about building a haemo coven in 6?

Is it best to keep the haemos stock with a liquifier, or should I go about a different way? Also how should I go about the configuration of the wracks?

Lastly, I would like to use two talos unless they are utterly poor in 6e. Along side a razor wing or void raven.

So what are your opinions on how to go about this dakka?

I run mechanized wracks.

Small units of 3 to 5, with a liquifier if they are at 5, in venoms or raiders, grotesques in raiders with haemies.

Pain engines as heavy support, because i love the models. Cronoi have vortex, taloi heatlance and 2L liquifiers.

I usually run my haemies naked, maybe a liquifier if i feel like it.

They can do ok, but aren't exactly game breakingly good...

One of the best parts of a coven is the liquifier gun. This is second to the D scythe as the best non torrent flamer around. Anywhere you can put one, take one.

Covens can take a decent punch and have good melee with poison or high S, but you will need anti tank. Be sure to account for the proper amount of lances to pop armor.

Other than liquifiers, coven units mostly lack shooting. Venoms help get that poison dakka you want.

Skaredcast has some good batreps with a coven list, check em out.

I'm looking to do similar, although I would probably be using more Raiders, if I take a Razorwing I feel like I can swap 1 or 2 venoms over to raiders.

I think I would be running Haemos with Liquifiers, any opinions on Urian?

I have seen some of Skaredcast's reports, I'll have to check them out more often knowing this.

I'm working on a coven themed list currently and it's workout out pretty well for me. Throwing Urien into a unit of Grotesques can be a vicious unit when spearheaded directly into the fray.

If you want some battle report research, I recommend hopping out to Youtube and look at Skari's latest battle reports. He's doing 20 games of coven and he's doing a great job talking about what's working and what's not against various opponents and such.

That was my idea originally, since he can give out D3 Pain tokens I can either make the Grots meaner. Or divide them through the Wrack squads so that that are pretty mean in the first turn assault with those re rolls.
