Just trying again as I posted this late last night. Would LOVE some feedback...?
So playing my second ever game of 40K this Wednesday. Boning up to try and get spanked a little less than last week. I've asked for a thousand point game to be able to cope with what I have on the table! 2 Variants on a list:
LIST 1:
Destroyer Lord (warscythe, semp weave)
10 Immortals
12 Warriors (Scythe)
6 Wraiths (4 with coils - that's how I've built them - DL with these)
2 Anni barges
That's 996 points
LIST 2:
Overlord (staff of light, semp weave, res orb)
Royal Court - Harbringer of the Storm (voltaic staff, lightning field)
10 immortals (overlord with these)
10 warriors (Scythe - Stormtek here)
6 wraiths (as above but without the DL obvs)
2 Barges
that's 1,000 points - I think I prefer this - the immortals maybe live up to their names a bit better? the voltaic staff with those warriors is going to pop whatever it lands beside the turn the scythe comes in - I think I can have fun with this. But everyone always says take the lord with the wriaths, and I get that that gives me one super hard unit - but does it make my opponent concentrate fire?
Thoughts appreciated.
If you want to suggest other ideas - I have a C'tan, five lychguards, Nem Z, Varg O, Doomsday Ark, some scarabs, and crypteks for destruction and despair also...
