So i am going to participate in my first tournament at 1250pts with my GK.
I am far more used to higher points (2k usually) and its hard to downgrade so much with GK i find.
In the tournament there should be quite a lot of different lists (eldars with WS, necrons with fliers, CD with FMC, CSM without more then one drake, TAU without riptides, IG, DE, SM, other GK, DA....)

There should not be any Drake heavy list.

I wanted to try a Crowewing (even though i am aware it fell out of love, at that point level and without too many drakes i think it might be efficient)
Something like :

Crowe

5 purifiers with 2 psycanon in razorback with psyamo
5 purifiers with 2 psycanon in razorback with psyamo
5 purifiers with 2 psycanon in razorback with psyamo
5 purifiers with 2 psycanon in razorback with psyamo

Dreadknought with 2 psy AC
Dreadknought with 2 psy AC

Aegis defence line with icarius

Or i could go with a more classic :

Coteaz

10 GKSS 2 psycanon, psy amo
10 GKSS 2 psycanon, psy amo

DK : teleporter, incinerator
DK : teleporter, incinerator

Stormraven with multimelta and assault canon

Or i could swap the 2 GKSS squads for 3 GKSS squads in razorbacks with psyamo

The first list is quite nice. But the Purifiers must get out of the transports for shooting purposes. Then you have to watch out for Helldrakes.

The second list has also its weaknesses. GKSS without transports are questionable. Where is Corteaz going with? Into the SR?

Indeed purifiers need to get out of transport, the idea would be to put the aegis mid field and move upfront first turn with the psybacks, disembark 6" and be just behind the line.

If there are some helldrakes around i can just remabark while i shoot it (but only one CSM player and he wont play more then 1 drake and that is not even sure).

For the second list, i agree that GKSS without transports miss some mobility but i have mobility from the DKs and storm, Coteaz can join one of the GKSS squad as they are not in rhinos
