As the title suggests my question is "what is the first turn of combat?"
Now this seems like a silly questions but heres why I ask it:

Hatred: "A model striking a hated for in close combat re-rolls all misses in the first round of each combat - he does not get to make re-rolls for Hatred in subsequent rounds" BRB p 37

Units A and B are engaged in CC and have been for a full turn, then on a following turn, Unit C joins the combat. Does unit C get re-rolls because its the first round IT is involved in the combat? or does it not because this is turn 2+ of THE COMBAT?

BRB FAQ/errata didn't have this question, so if someone could point me to the rule for what goes down here that would be super

For unit C, it is the first round of combat.

You have to view the rule from the model/unit perspective. In this case for all intents and purposes this is the first round of combat for Unit C.

Yeah thats how we played it, just wanted to get some more perspectives on it.
