Hello guys, being an avid Deathwing player I had a look through the SW codex and came up with the following 1000point list:

Logan Grimnar 275

4 Wolf Guard /w TDA, 4x Combi-melta, power axes, pod 187

5 Wolf Guard /w TDA, 5xCombi-plasma, power axes, CML with stormshield, pod 270

5 Wolf Guard /w TDA, 5xCombi-flamer, power axes, CML with stormshield, pod 270


I feel that this could be quite brutal on the alpha strike, sadly I think a lot more brutal than the deathwing can be. Getting many shots off on turn 1 seems lovely, yet I might be mistaken. Therefore I would love to hear your opinions about this list.

I like this I have my own variant use to run this in fith but in sixth termites are a lot better.

Try Logan long fangs 3 plasma cannons 2 multilmeltas and a rune priest with divination! Used to do it in 5th against mech and it would wreck. Preferred enemy or tank hunters then some divination spells! Lethal haven't run it in 6th because I think it would just upset people..

Any more thoughts on the competitiveness of the list as it is written perhaps.

I do agree there are more things that could be changed, a unit of missile launcher long fangs as well perhaps? And dropping some terminator armor from the guard packs opens up space for more wg with combi weapons as well.
