Is it possible? As far as I can see there's nothing which would prevent you from first deploying via Infiltrate and then moving 6Inches from the place where you infiltrated.

It isnt "stacking" - its just following both rules. Yes, this is entirely legal.

In fact, this very question is in the BRB FAQ.

Thanks for the info.
I had a TO tell me I couldn't do that with my scouts last tournament I went to, but that's why I play scouts.

I'll make sure to print out dat errata

But when you make your scout move, dont you have to remain at least 12" away from your opponent? So infiltrating and then scouting gives you an extra 6" (with infiltrating making you stay at least 18" away from an enemy". Not bad I guess, if thats important to you.

Right, so you infiltrate up to 18" from enemies in vision (12" if not in vision, but that rarely happens) and then you scout move to be 12" away from the enemy. Then on your first turn you regular move up 6" putting you 6" away from the enemy.
Prime range for that combi-melta scout sarge.

However, I do have a question about it: BRB: USR: Scout: second paragraph: "Scouts must remain more than 12" away from any enemy unit."
Does this mean they cannot actually get into half melta range on the first turn because if they are more than 12" and then they scout up they will still technically be more than 6" away from the enemy target. hmm.....

either way, it gives you an opportunity to pepper a unit with your shot-guns. woo scouts

Correct - Infiltrate + Scout means you must end more than 12" away, meaning you'll never get the extra melta pen die that way.

Its not an errata. Its just a question about the rules as they were published.

Ha, I just had a Ravenguard player do that exact move on me, and all I could give him was the "mind blown" look. Talk about getting in your opponent's face right away.
