Hi,

I will be playing two games (550 and 1500 points versus Necrons). I have never played against them. What tactics can Space Wolves use to win? The rumor is that Necrons are very easy to play, and hard to defeat.
Any hints would be great.

All best.

necrons can field a wide variety if units, so it depends on what you face. The most common list by far is 2 squads of wraiths, powerful jump infantry with a 3+ invuln that will destroy anything they get into assault with, several annihilation barges which have the equivalent of 2 or 3 auto cannons and 13 armor, and several flyers that also have 2 or 3 auto cannons. I reccomended brining lots of high volume shooting for the wraiths, las cannons for the barges, and whatever skydire you have. Focus on any wraiths first as they are by far the biggest threat.

The key to strategy is not to choose a path to victory, but to choose so that all paths lead to a victory.

War is beautiful because it establishes man’s dominion over the subjugated machinery by means of gas masks, terrifying megaphones, flame throwers, and small tanks. War is beautiful because it initiates the dreamt-of metalization of the human body. War is beautiful because it enriches a flowering meadow with the fiery orchids of machine guns. War is beautiful because it combines the gunfire, the cannonades, the cease-fire, the scents, and the stench of putrefaction into a symphony.
