My FLGS has plenty of 4x6 tables for Warhammer, which also work well for Warmahordes's 4x4 playing area. But, as you know, they don't work so well for Malifaux.

I got really annoyed at measuring out 3x3 areas, and like any gamer with more money than sense, I found a neat thing that made my problem* go away in the keenest way possible. It wasn't too expensive, but it was a custom order, as I discuss in the video.

*And by problem, I mean minor inconvenience

At the local store, we have cut two pieces of plastic, 6 inches by three feet. It works pretty well, plus, you have an area to keep all your stat cards.

2,000 points

265 point detachment

Imperial Knight detachment: 375

Iron Hands: 1,850

That's a neat idea.

How much did that mat cost you? The video is work blocked so I can't get any of the information that's contained in the video.

The reason why I ask is because if you've ever seen Wyrd's tournaments at GenCon, they used vinyl mats of their terraclips sets (sewers, streets of malifaux, buildings of malifaux, etc...), and people wondered why they wouldn't just produce those. The response we got was they cost Wyrd 50 bucks a mat and they felt that was too expensive. I feel like since Gale Force 9 started doing X-Wing mats that this 'technology' has gotten cheaper for bigger companies to do

17 GBP per plus 5 GBP shipping. Why it was in GBP, it beats me, since the guy lives in Lithuania, but I found it acceptable as a price. Now, it was custom, so the price point might not be firm, but that's what I paid for them.
