First off, Rune Priests just have Runic Weapons, not Runic Axes. Because they can wound Daemons on a 2+ they count as Unusual Force Weapons and thus are ALWAYS the strength of the user and
AP 3.
As for the list, I hate it.
You have 20 scoring models, and none of them are particularly durable. Your Veterans are mostly unsupported and with Melta weapons are going to be dumped point blank on the enemy. Even with Going To Ground and Orders they're going to get rocked easily. Any list with plenty of
AP 5 (such as all those other
SM armies) are going to burn 'em.
Your Grey Hunters have a similar problem. It doesn't take a lot of firepower to wipe out 5 Space Marine models. With how light on Troops you are a smart opponent just has to focus fire and suddenly all you can do is play for the draw.
Vendettas could use Heavy Bolter sponsons, especially since you are taking two.
Also your Warlord is a bit weak. A 2+ save will go a long way to keeping him alive. I wish we could get a Storm Shield on our Rune Priests like
SM Librarians could, or just SOME kind of 4+ Invulnerable Save. But in close combat there are a lot of things that will tear him up, to say nothing of volume of fire.
I think part of the problem is how you are trying to bring ranged firepower. Taking two Long Fangs Packs AND two Leman Russ Battle Tanks at 1500 points is sucking out points for troops.
Honestly, I think you'd be better off dropping the
LRBT and Veteran Squad and Razorbacks and doing something like this:
Your Rune Priest is a little more durable, more accurate and denies a large area to enemy Infiltrators. You'll want to stick him in a Rhino so he can shoot out of the top and be protected by more bodies. Also, since he's not sitting with your Long Fangs your opponent doesn't have such an easy choice at what to shoot. Before you were putting a Secondary Objective (Warlord) in with a support unit that is packed with firepower the enemy wants to take out anyways, and a small unit to boot. Now the enemy will have to pop a vehicle, deal with a good amount of other bodies, and get past his 2+ save to get a Victory Point.
Your scoring units are more durable and still mobile. We have a nice fat blob for our home objective. 31 Stubborn Guardsmen that can help with the fire support (note: you can save 30 points by dropping the Lascannons to Autocannons) and have 3 Flamers to Wall of Death anyone charging them. With your two Long Fang Packs you have a solid firing line to hold your home objective.
Your
CCS and
PCS ride in the Vendettas. 4
BS 4 Meltagun shots can pop open anything and the 4 Flamers (mitigating the
BS 3) can lay on a lot more wounds than you might suspect on anything that was inside. And of course, the Vendettas themselves... That squadron is putting out 6 Twin-Linked Lascannons and 2 Heavy Bolters at
BS 3, and another 2 Heavy Bolters at
BS 1. You can threaten everything from infantry blobs to heavy armor.
And you still have 10 points left over for what ever. A Wolf Standard in one of the units (probably the 9 man) would be a good purchase.
Anyways, I'd really be worried only having the amount of scoring bodies that you do. I really suggest beefing them up a bit.
