I got my mitts on one of the GW Dry Brush compounds, namely Necron Compound. I will have to say it actually applies nicely an a little goes a long way. But I've noticed that my initial singular "blob" of pigment has crumbled into a mess of flakey bits. Is there a way to reconstitute it into a workable mass? Should I add medium or attempt to shake it? I tested out a small mass on a palette and mix seems to make things worse. Thoughts anyone?

Im not sure what the medium for these is either; I have a couple of colours, becasue when this paint line first came out all the pale colours were drybrush only, now theyre the edge colours and the dry ones are obsolete mostly I find them very dusty to drybrush compared to a normal paint, and I can achieve a better cleaner result with a layer paint drybrushing than i can with a dry compound paint. :(

I did find necron compound to go bad kind of quickly, while all the solid non metallic colours I have didnt do that.
Had to dispose of over half a pot of the necron compound because of it. Not sure what happened to it... imagine it dryed or reacted with the metal flake perhaps.

Either way the dry paints... useless, get the appropriate layer or edge paints of the colour, they go on much nicer and have multiple applications.
We drybrushed just fine (better I find) without dry compounds before.

'Ain't nothing crazy about me but my brain. Right brain? Riight! No not you right brain! Right left brain? Right!... Okay then lets do this!!
