Please excuse the not so great pic, all I had on me was my cellphone camera. I wanted a subtle conversion that hopefully made this Corbulo unique looking but still using most of the original model. Thoughts?

Looks pretty good, definitely a nice tabletop standard piece. Maybe wash the face with a nice fleshtone and then highlight and possibly highlight the red armour with a lighter tone. But other than that well done.

Anyone else think he looks like Benedict Cumberbatch? Never a bad thing.

Its pretty solid, but i'll second the idea of a little more depth to the face,

It looks great, definitely tabletop worthy. I'd recommend thinning down your white paint a bit. I know it's tempting to slap white paint on in thick layers because it doesn't cover so well, but you'll get much better results if you take your time and use multiple thin layers.

Yea I am no expert but I think if you thin down the paints a little bit with water and apply a couple more coats it will give it a much sharper finish. If applying thick coats as said above, the paint tends to clog and look kind of like curdled milk on your model.

Regardless, I think this is fantastic. You've chosen the right colours for the right spots IMO.

Well done!

Agreed on a little more depth on the face but other than that well done!

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.
