Librarian: terminator armor, storm shield, storm bolter = 148

Furioso: frag cannon, HF, fist (+pod with beacon) = 180
5 Termies: CML, chainfist = 235

10 ASM: 2 plasma guns = 220
10 ASM: 2 flamers, PS = 215

The termies can forrslog or even DS onto the drop pod beacon (its a bit of gamble). Their there to provide fire cover and a threat the whole game. Im not sure whether Assault termies would be better though, as this list lacks firepower from afar. Thoughts? Also, is it better to have a CML or AC for my fire support termies? Thanks guys.

Sack off firepower and just go all out assault. 1 cyclone ml isnt going to change your firepower significantly enough to be worth it. TH/SS are awsome but the only problem without a raider or raven is once they deepstrike the enemy will just run away from them, so if facing fast mech/jump/jet pack armies, go with your first list. If not - get assault marine termis, with the 10 free points upgrade the flamers to meltas. Id also drop the libbys storm bolter and give someone melta bombs.

How about an Assault Cannon on the termies instead? a bit more aggressive (and they look cooler), and yeah the change to meltas should be easy.

Assault cannon is nice if you aren't going th/ss.
