l was just looking at warhammer apps on the google app store and a few army list creator type things popped up.

So dose anyone use them and which is best, that and how do you use them?

Or is it best to stick with pen and paper?

I use Battlescribe mobile for Fantasy and 40k. It can be a pain finding the right catalogues, but it's free and pretty simple to use.

Sounds promising do you know where to find the data for the latest space marine codex?

The randomhit repo has the latest Sm codex.

If you play Flames of War or Kings of War, Easy Army is hands down one of the best options going for those two games.

Battlescribe is awesome, but can be a pain sometimes finding repos and making everything work. I prefer the desktop version over the mobile version.

I love Battlescribe myself. I never had trouble with the random hit one.

HQ Builder is pretty good. It has a few typos and one or two point errors but aside from that is very nifty.
