Just started playing 40K a month ago, when a friend and coworker got me to try a few games with loaned armies. I decided I liked the fluff/background of both Necron and Tau, so am starting with those. I just got two Necron battleforce boxes as they'd get me pretty close to the initial list I want to run. Still need to get HQ units and a few others to fill it out. I plan on the colors to be primarily silver and black, or a light bronze and black for vehicles. I'm holding off on the Tau army, wanting to get the game rules down with the relatively simple (to me, at least!) Necrons.

The local wargaming scene is pretty friendly and welcoming. I look forward to the games to come!
