I am starting a cron army to learn some tactics and learn their strengths/weaknesses to counter them in the future.

I have 130pts to spend. Should I grab some wraiths and turn my overlord into a destroyer lord?

That is one option. You could also take some scarabs, or even another AB

Ok, so if I add 8 scarabs then I have 10pts left with nowhere to put them. Or I could take seven and then give my overlord a tesseract labyrinth and a sempiternal weave for the 2+ armour and the "hahahahaha ur smurf lord just got trapped by my labyrinth"

I would have thought the AV13 would be good. (well AV13 until it gets penned after that its AV11)

Possible to get tabled turn one and if you don't make your reserve rolls, certainly hard to make it to turn three. Then again, three fliers at 1000 pts would be pretty damn cool... When I get my flyers (stupid, cheap, warhammer 40k delivery companies...) my list at 1,00 pts will be:

D Lord (semp weave, MSS, WS)
6 Wraiths (4 with coils)
3 x five warriors NS
Ann Barge

Not saying it's better, but I guess it's simple and I'm hoping with the D Lord it'll be survivable.

Although 3 flyers are still really fun to play with and could be very annoying for someone who forgot to take anti-flyer or has no flyers themselves.
