Troops:

10 Plaguebearers of Nurgle

I don't know much about daemon playstyle but damn, this list looks nasty. You llook a little light on AT but it has some definite strengths.

There ate several problems. The daemonic instability special rule prevents any independent character from joining the hounds (lord)

If your allies are csm then you fan only take 1 fast attack slot or if you are taking 2 allied detatchments you need more troops.

I am interested to see what you can do with a Huron + Demons list. Bring us a new one. : ]

Your primary detachment only has 1 troops choice, and your allied detachment has four! I don't have the rule book to hand, but I'm pretty sure that's not allowed.

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them

I second this. Also, both lists would be illegal allies...

Yes, for a 2K (double FOC list is what I think you're going for) requires 2 full Primary detachments. So you have the HQs (Huron/Lord), and you will need 3 more units of puny Cultists, as each Primary requires 2 Troops choices.

If you want 4 Daemons Troop choices, you will need 2 Allied FOCs, so another Daemon HQ too.

Looks like you're at 1846 points thus far. Add 3 units of 10 Cultists with Autoguns and you're over points at 2023.

Infiltrating Daemons is always a good idea, but you only get D3 Infantry units, so I might recommend taking 2 max squads of Daemonettes and reducing the other D'ettes to 10 Plaguers (or even just 3 Nurglings if you need points), or just stick with the Daemonettes. Plaguers kinda suck too.

Cultists suck so bad, drop the autoguns, save a few points there. The Chaos Lord will be mincemeat without a Sigil. You would be better off taking a Bike or Juggernaut (better) for him with the Brand and combi-melta, and drop a Heldrake for some Spawn or Bikers. Huron is good in combat but without a Land Raider or Rhino he won't be doing much in the game anyways.

That's a bunch of FleshHounds, which sad to say, really don't do all that much in combat. If they have a Jugger Herald with them, much much better. However, you could also just use them to Outflank and get Linebreaker. Everyone likes to go for an early charge with them, but they certainly won't hit too hard even if they get it. But they can be a little bit of a tarpit until the Daemonettes get join in. Problem is, if the Hounds lose combat, and on their own they certainly can, Instability can easily whittle them down. So you may want to dump them for something like the Masque as the extra Daemon HQ, and some Nurgle Obliterators (they can be Infiltrated too).

So I'm thinking something like this:

Huron
Khorne Lord/Bike/Sigil/Combi-melta/Brand/Lightning Claw
4x10 Cultists
Heldrake
5 Spawn
3 Nurgle Oblits

Lord of Change all maxed out
Masque (for the one-trick pony trick, just keep her away from Intercepting fire)
2 x20 Daemonettes
10 Flesh Hounds OR a Soul Grinder with the Torrent attack of some sort (probably Nurgle)
[i]

Huron can just come in with some Cultists, possibly Blessing or Maledicting if he gets any good random power(s). Hounds can Outflank or Scout, or a Soul Grinder can deepstrike and Torrent crap, then smush things in combat. Daemonettes, and more Daemonettes, and Obliterators can Infiltrate. And depending on the enemy/mission/deployment, Obliterators might be better if you only the 1 on the D3. For example, Outflanking Oblits in a Hammer and Anvil game, very very handy. But if it's the other deployments and the enemy clusters to one side, they might not have range if they come in from the wrong side, etc....

Anyways, Cultists should stay in Reserves whenever possible. Have them walk in on your objectives that you get to place close to your edge.
