After a test game, I absolutely must build 5 Nurgle spawn. I want to use the plastic VC Crypt Horrors, but really want to mix lots of DE Talos bits in there.
Sort of like the DE grotesques.. but feral?

Crypt Ghouls are rather small (stooped over human size), although the nice thing about Spawn is that they are chaotic mutations and so by definition can look like anything. But make your spawn too small and you'll get grumbles from opponents re LoS etc - I suggest making them slightly wider than a 40 mm base and around 50-60 mm tall (i.e. the same as the standard models).
Certainly you could still use Crypt Ghoul bits, e.g. a Ghoul top half on a horrifically mutated oversized lower half from whatever, or a spawn with multiple torsoes/limbs/heads.
And yes I can see a Talos being a great source of bits, if you want your spawn to look semi-armoured/mechanical.

Have you thought about skaven rat ogres, they are nice and bulky and the Talos bits would work a treat with those bad boys.
It was a thought of mine a while back but I switched armies lol.

I think they are metal, but still multi part minis. If I'm honest they are just as easy to mod.

Rat ogres have been plastic since 2002 [and also aren't the prettiest minis]
