Ok, so I'm trying to find a British tank company with Churchill combat platoons and firefly support platoons. Does such a company exist and in what book?

The 2nd Army Tank Brigade and 6 Guards Tank Brigade are both heavy tank companies.

They can take 5 churchill platoons, crocadile support platoon and breaching platoon.

Only downside is they can not take any shermans only TD's.

That is from the Overlord book.

Well I'm looking for a company that will allow me to use churchills and fireflies together because the only Britsh unit I like are Churchills and I have four fireflies from two open fire boxes.

yeah know what your saying.

Sadly it looks like all the companies in the Overlord book (the only allied one I have) has either Shermans and no churchills or churchills and no shermans.

I was afraid of that. Well that sucks. I dunno what to do with these Fireflies now lol

Sell them?

Or have you considered breaching groups?

You can have some Sherman armour backed up by crab shermans and avre churchills

i think i would wait on the Italy HArbacks.It appears that the 8th the Army had both Sherman and Churchills.So maybe you will be able to add the Fireflies to the Sherman Platoons.When the books are released.As Suppport or Primary. company.

I blame Girls Und Panzer for my likeing of the Churchill. I originally thought it looked very goofy.

Them BF Cromwells are a beatiful kit.What did you use for your CS models?PSC?

BF - But I saw the PSC ones a few weeks ago side by side, and I decided that I would invest in PSC ones from now on as they are almost interchangeable. It was typical for me to buy the Guards Armoured Recce Boxed Set and then PSC release Cromwells.

So for £32 I can add another 10 of them....I bloody love Cromwells. Plus I want some Comets as well, for Late, Late, Late War .

There is no tank company in existence in the books that combines both Sherman fireflies and Churchill tanks. The churchill's were slow and generally supported infantry or slowly lumbered along in tank squadrons full of equally slow churchill tanks. Fireflies were for attack and were usually found in Armoured squadrons that operated as faster responding armoured assault. The only time you have an option to combine the two is as support units for various rifle and recce squadrons from the Overlord book. You could have a platoon or two that include either as support options, but there is no tank company that combines the two together.
