i get chance to flick through my own copy of massacre this weekend after working away from home for a while and i've been trying to view what people think of the 30k list available to them - i intend to do 3k on pure admech

Can castellax be used in Zone Mortalis or are they too big?

Can thallax deepstrike in zone mortalis?

I havent seen any Admech army lists pop up yet - anyone come up with a reasonable list yet?

Not sure about Castellax, but Thallaxi can only deep strike in Zone Mortalis if they choose the Empyrite upgrade (I think it's Empyrite that lets them deep strike via teleport?)

i'd heard that that upgrade was scrapped for the massacre based list :(

i thought there was a rising number of 30k players but it appears only a small amount has embraced that mechanical love that admech offer.

I love the Ad-Mech. Long have I waited for the releases FW are putting out. As for the Castellax, I'd say it's dreadnought size on a 60mm base judging from this photo:



Would be fine in ZM games but he wouldn't fit down the smaller corridors!

Yip castellax is all good for zone mortalis, 60mm base same as a dread. Main problem with 60mm bases is they won't fit through alot of the gaps!

I use my catellax as an objective defender. It's in a room with a computer that has to be turned off to get out. It waits in the dark to unleash it's craziness! Brilliant looking model by the way, much better than the pics

grrrrr, cheers Knockagh - had i read that before i placed an order on FW i would of got some board pieces and a maniple - instead i bought a load more DKOK.

I'm getting a ZM board mid january so i have time to sort out a decent list. I've still a dozen thallax to paint up but still waiting on the weapon upgrades to be released :(
