Alright first time poster long time reader. Wanted to get some advice on my list. I can change out some models but I like the "core" of it. x9 walkers with landing pad farseer. The goal of the list is pretty simple. Have farseer give double reroll to the BLx2 and SLx2. Have avatar to counter attack anything coming close or if they are just shooty I send it as a fix point of fire. Wave sepents and bikes and well everything else explains itself.

HQ - Farseer - Spear - 105

HQ - Avatar - Monster Hunter - Fast Shot - 215 - Change Edit

Troop - 5 man DA - Wave Serpent - TL SC, Scannon + Holo Shield - 210

Troop - 5 man DA - Wave Serpent - TL SC, Scannon + Holo Shield - 210

Troop - 3 man Eldar Bike - 51

Troop - 3 man Eldar Bike - 51

Fast Attack - Swooping Hawk 5 man + 1 Ex with Sunrifle - 121

Fast Attack - Crimson Hunter - 160

Fast Attack - Crimson Hunter - 160

Heavy - x3 War Walkers x6 Scatter Laser - 210

Heavy - x3 War Walkers x6 Bright Lance - 210

Heavy - x3 War Walkers x3 Scatter Laser x3 Starcannon - 210

Landing Pad - 75

total 1988

So I have some wiggle room. I can ally but hard for me to drop anything. I feel this list can cover anything. Hell drakes are no problem. Monster spam tau zero issues. My only problem was dealing with a seer Council. That..was annoying. So any advice please!

I really like the idea of the list. You have a strong, modular gunline with VERY mobile elements. Nothing is wrong with your core, but you can tweak a few things.

If your farseer is going to camp out on the platform, he could use friends. Anything works since you have a 4++ so guardians to score, and provide a heavy weapon would work. Alternatively, mount em on a jetbike with the mantle, and cast powers from a hidden area. Guide/prescience for the walkers is nice, but don't rule out the other powers. Runes of fate has fortune and doom, both of which are worth trying for. Telepathy has psychic shriek, invisibility and hallucination. Divination has forwarning(much less critical with a skyshield) misfortune and scriers gaze. Don't be so quick to default your twin linking powers, and keep your farseer modular.

The avatar always needs fast shot. Double tap on a BS10 melta gun is too good to pass up. Crushing blow AND monster hunter are redundant. Against an MC, monster hunter covers your bases. Crushing blow is nice against T5 like plague marines or bikes, but otherwise meh. Disarming strike can be a lifesaver, and is worth the extra points. I usually just take fast shot, disarm or monster hunter if I have points.

One of your crimson hunters would benefit from being an exarch. Not required, but not bad.

Alright, I like the farseer on top of the platform which keeps him pretty safe. I know the laughing god combo with bikes but I am trying to stay away from doing that. It does cost the points and the army is pretty tight on points. I would hvae to drop the hawks which have won be games. the 9 walkers and sometimes avatar on platform is enough, sticking guardians on there makes it almost zero room and just way to much on there point wise. Having already close to 50% of my army there is risky, havign another 200 points is to much.

I like the avatar fast shot monster hunter. I will change that now

What do you think

Edit.

My meta is pretty heavy tournament meta. A lot of x3-4 Helldrakes Seer Council tons of deamons and a few deathstar?? units.. Not really sure why they are called that but they are annoying. And we have a few players who also play the x4 Ripetides. So this list is built towards them.

Total respect for hawks. They are a surgical knife in trained hands, and have won me games as well. I am concerned about the seer being targeted, as a 4++ on T3 does not last that long.

The Avatar hangs out on the platform? Very interesting...why not push forward? Fast shot monster hunter is a great build.

To deal with drakes, mass dakka and the 4++ from the shield. Serpents and guided walkers ruin this. Seer councils need to be fed units, just choose your battles. Tarpitting is hard with weapons wounding on 2+, and you just risk being weak to a council.

For deamons, just focus mass fire, and again feed units. Your probably facing khorne hounds or screamers.

Riptides can be taken out, just shoot one by one, and force the failed saves. Use your Avatar to bully/absorb fire and just focuse walkers and serpents their way. 2+/5++ is a pain, and if they nova for the shield look elsewhere.

Wow this is probably the most solid list i have seen in a long time. IMO you can't make any changes with this list because its knit together so much, but it is good the way it is.

only units i for see problems are is a lot of templates like from battle tanks but still a 4++ should help.

I assume you are starting Hawks in reserve. Three units in reserve beg to have an autarch on table. He will help make sure that the units you want come on table when you want them too....

Just throwing out an option you can take 3 spirit seers instead of the avatar if you play with Iyanden supplement (it can give you 3 psychic shrieks in addition to 3 other powers).

As i said just an idea but maybe a good one!

Thank you all for the comments! Ok to answer some of your questions.

Arbiter -

TI have thought about the spirit seers over the avatar, or maybe a fareer bike etc over him, but what I am trying to do is really build a well rounded list. I ran a list simpler to this with no avatar and notice I did not have anything strong enough and a good fight to throw into x2 flying deamons coming at me. It sucked haha. So I wanted to try Avatar, now I have NOT tested him yet, and won't till next week but only time will tell if he makes his points back.

Tdwg -

Yes hawks and both bike squads are reserve, and depending on who I am against 1 unit of WW in reserve to flank. ( that is against tau mostly .. or IG ). Need something that can snipe a hidding riptide. I own a autarch bike + mantle combo. I tried it and was very very disapointed with it. Really felt just weak. Not sure if I used it right but just felt weak. I tried to use him hit and run style to get the str 6 hits but never always worked that way. I tried to use him as a tank hunter with the fusion gun but no luck. Now I might run one with wings and have him just deepstrike or something but so far, not a big fan. If I ran more reserve I would consider over Avatar, but right now I can't. Now I can drop the Avatar throw in a Aut, but then I am still missing a key model to battle a deamon prince or a threat target for long range shooting.
