Playing in an escalation league at my FLGS which culminates in 2 weeks with a 1999+1 match. Here's the list I'm considering taking and I'm curious to get feedback on such.

Primary Detachment: Orks

HQ:
2x Warboss ('eavy armor, squig, cybork, PK, TL Shoota)

Troops:
2x 7 Nobz (BC, 'Eavy Armor, Cybork, Slugga, 1 Waaagh Banner)
+ Painboy
+ Trukk (TPJ, Ram, Big Shoota)

2x 19 Choppa Boyz
+ Nob ('Eavy Armor, BP, PK)

Heavy:
2x Battlewagon (2xBig Shoota, Deffrolla, Lobba, RPJ)

Allied Attachment: Necrons

HQ:
Imotekh
+ Destructek (Solar Pulse)
+ Destructek (stock)
+ ChronoTek (Chronometron)

Troops:
2x 5 Warriors in Night Scythe

Heavy:
Annihilation Barge (Tesla)

Strategy - I'm betting on going first and be able to move my orks off the line. Imotekh will help with his 4+ Steal the Initiative (unless against orks) and night fighting will provide additional cover for the orks. Also with Deffrollas and Rams, I'll be able to reroll dangerous terrain tests to move over things instead of around. My FLGS doesn't use a lot of impassible terrain so this sounds good on paper. Necrons are present to provide extra firing support and that's about it.

So any thoughts? Anything I should be cautious off (excluding Dark Eldar)?

I would suggest having your Warboss/Nob retinue in the Battlewagons and putting your boyz into the Trukks. Yes, that will mean that you would have to reduce their numbers, but you can take another squad of boyz in another trukk and have that much more killiness! If you do this, however, you might consider dropping the shooting upgrades on your vehicles. For Orks, their whole purpose is to get them right into Krumpin' distance! They should be moving Flat-Out in the Shooting Phase, rather than trying to shoot something and probably missing because of wonderful BS 2! OTher than that, though, this really looks like a solid list! Just watch out for any player that decides to spam vehicles; you may have a hard time with that!

Thanks.

I'll try out switching the transport/passengers around and give it a go. I'm interested to see how it works and if Imotekh will make a difference.

Always open to other options as well if anyone has anything to add.
