Tyrant's claw says it incorporates a heavy flamer, does that mean it's a shredding armorbane strng 5 ap 4 flamer aswell?

I'm pretty confident it would get these rules aswell... I'd love to flame a landspeeder into smoldering metal but it is a little unclear.

Just to be clear for those without a codex, the flamer is shooting from the weapon with armorbane and shredding.

hey what time is it?

If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
No, it doesn't get Shred and Armourbane.
Nor does it gain Melee, Specialist Weapon or any other Special Rules associated with the claws profile.

If it was meant to have that rule it would have it's own profile with Shred and Armourbane, but it tells you to use the profile of a Heavy Flamer which doesn't have these rules. Sounds good, but it's incorrect.

Basically its an addition to weapon, like a heavy flamer on a Dreadoughts DCCW.

The Don and his Talon of Horus is the same, it only has an attached weapon. Both cases the attached weapon doesn't share profile rules from the weapon it is attached to.
