With more than 3 years* put into creating this and then, because my wife (the writer) and I (the illustrator) are perfectionists, gutting and completely redoing half of it (and revising what was left), this is the single biggest creative commitment we've made, and just a few weeks ago, we finally got the book in print in all of its offset printed glory, and couldn't be happier with them.

*coincidentally, around as long as I've been on Dakka

So, I thought I'd share this here: 200+ pages of shiny post-apocalyptic future-past drama, politics, and robotics.

Or you can take the official blurb (not actually spoilers):
Spoiler:
The Radiant Ones is a saga of the future-past, filled with epic politics, scientific miracles and the everyday struggles of life after the ravaging, decades-long War of Desolation.

Constellation introduces Dr. Stan Nova and his rival Anthony Conrad, two geniuses facing up to the challenges of the post-apocalypse in the City of Adamant. A cybernetics pioneer with a secret and an obsessive robotics prodigy, each tries to outdo the other in the name of the Greater Good, clashing over social policies as much as over their wondrous technological achievements. Inexorably, both men divide the City, drawing those closest to them into a dangerous conflict that echoes their desperate world– a world that promised never to war again.

The whole volume is published on our site (as is the second, which is in progress), though of course it would be awesome if you picked up a copy since we just went live with our web store. Besides the support, we're both big proponents of print media, and love the printed whole, which was always as we intended it.

...and some previews (not really spoilers either, just big pics)
