There's a Kickstarter to create a new game in the series.

I never did finish 7th Guest or 11th Hour, but I do have both games from GOG.com and should try them again. I have a feeling, though, that this project may not succeed. While PC gaming classics, they may not have a large enough audience to reach their funding goal. Kind of like how the Kickstarter for a remake of the classic Red Baron game fizzled. Amazing games for their time, but not enough recognition today, I think.

On the other hand, if they really push the horror aspect, they could see some success, as indie horror games are big now (Outlast, Amnesia, etc.).
