Ok, i am having some serious problems.
First off i run Grey Knights and the 2 main armies i want to beat are Tau and Eldar.
Now i am aware that GK are not the best when fighting Xenos, but the past few games against a Farsight Enclave list and an eldar list.. it was bad...
both races have so many low AP weapons with S6 or higher that even the mighty paladin squad with Draigo at the head will be reduced to a 5 man squad by turn 2 and dread knights just cant do enough now.

ive tried every "Pure" list i can think of, next is the Dread knight, Raven spam.
if it doesnt work.. then i will be left with trying eldar allies as a supplement to my lacking in speed and good range and even then i dont think i will be able to do much against 3 wraith nights and 5 wave serpents or 2 riptides, 3 broadsides and 5 crisis teams 1 of which is a large body guard squad.

If anyone has any list ideas... i am open to something i haven't thought of yet. haha

As far as I've heard, nobody but Daemons can currently even think of beating Eldar or Tau.

Well if you're looking at fighting against those armies then interceptor squads are a very reasonable thought process. Teleport shunt makes most armies cringe when they rely on mobility. Shunt up behind the serpents to give them a helping of str 5 shots in the butt. Shunt up near the tides and they will have to pray they can super jump a good amount away from you since if they don't get off turbo jump then they can only make you have a 7" charge max. Most people don't shoot interceptors right away because the other things like dreadknights are a lot scarier.

Our local Tau player tabled a Flying circus build last weekend 3rd or 4 turn, but the game was over at the end of second turn... i mean, im not even sure if i can list tailor to beat them. haha

I beat a 5 serpent list with ravenwing. Both those armies have a serious downfall when it comes to highly mobile spam. They don't have the number of turns they need to stay away from you before they get locked in or hit by the higher strength close ranged weapons.

I Have tried running tripple raider lists, but there is to much melta spam from the tau the eldar have 4 s10 shots that would worry me, plus the ability to come after my squads and the squads not be able to hurt the knights once they are close.

I don't remember the old interceptor lists honestly. Been awhile since I Gray Knighted. Triple Ravens is deadly and it's an added defense against the dreaded seer council your eldar opponent may try later. You can also do mokeys in chimeras IE Jokaero? That's enough las to put even a serpent down from glances a turn.

I have a decent ammount if guard, and when i ran my guard against the their just wasn't enough i could do against the wraith nights, and the fact that eldar can make glancing hits out of everything.... so stupid.... lol
against the Tau my russ squads laid waste to most of his army, and i won by a single point, but that was his list when he was still play testing. now with double riptides im sure he would just deep strike in and eat my tank line.

i used monkeys and unfortunately the chimera was poped shortly before the Wraith Knight and its Twin linked s6 ap2 heavy 3 cannon hit the squad forcing me to make 12 5 up saves. didnt even have that many in the squad.. lol
ill make an interceptor list this weekend and try to include the monkeys.

I've had great success in my FLGS against both Eldar and Tau, and Taudar, as GK.
Mordrak, 4-5 Ghosts, and a Libby/ Inq drops in T1. Two-three Dreadknights jump forward to support him; alternatively, a few squads of GKI with Incinerators and Psybolt ammo can fill this role.
They absolutely cannot kill that many threats, and you're into assault T2, with all their focus on saving their own line, while your cheap Henchmen Troops secure objectives (if you went with Coteaz in the backfield instead of a Libby up front. Or maybe you used two FOCs.)

If you want, stick in an allied SM Drop Pod. The Auspex you give your Libby HQ will make that ADL save much worse, so that your backfield Psyflemen/Jokareros have a better chance to kill the Serpents/Broadsides/Longstrike/whatever the Incins aren't crisping. Take Imperial Fists, and not only are your bolters more accurate from that Tac squad, your allied Dev Squad has Tank Hunter!
