Human Auxiliary to the Empire

So after a few months hiatus from Warhammer, I came back and saw that there are now ebook versions of the Codexes.
I need to pick up the Tau Codex, but I'm torn as to what version to get. I have an Ipad that I use for all my textbooks, so I am used to using it.
Just not sure.....so I just like to hear what you think of the iPad and ebook versions, what version you like to use and why.

I personally like the physical book. Various reasons, most due to having the flexibility of a real book and not being constrained to hardware. I also have a problem with fingerprints on screens so, yea.
And I would rather have an obscure book in a place full of strangers than a well known piece of technology just in case someone ran off with it.

I like the physical book more than the ebook. The proper book is easier to bring around and dosent need to be charged.

I prefer the physical book. I get why they do ebooks, but i don't buy them (lots of reasons why). I also like a physical book.
I wish they'd do simultaneous releases in print and ebook, but i realize they have to test the waters first with some releases to see if they sell.

I'll vote for physical. They can't run out of battery power, for one.
But hey, if you like using your iPad then just use that. I've heard that they display well on them.

IPad gets all day battery anyways so I'm not so worried about that.
Anyone here have a digital copy? If so, how is it? Does it feel more useful then the physical copy? Convenient? Easy to read?
Reason I ask is because I'd like to try the eBook version to see if I like it, but I don't want to spend $50 on a test. And the sample just doesn't do it justice as it doesn't have any quick links or anything.
I wanna get the general feeling of what its like, then apply that information to me.
Maybe I'll buy my main army book as physical, and a secondary army digital.

Nothing beats having a book in your hands. It's easy to navigate, easier to save pages, it doesn't need batteries, the list goes on and on.

Love having the physcial book for reading but really enjoy the iPad books for tournaments and other games at my FLGS. Carrying a lightweight iPad beats carrying around a rulebook and all my army books around. Plus the iPad versions have easy links for many rules in the main rulebook so there isn't a lot of jumping around like you have to in the BRB. Once you get the hang of using them, it's really a time saver.

I've bought the iPad versions of 5th edition SM, Tau and 6th edition SM. Whilst I do miss having the physical book for fluff reading/looking at artwork (note they're still in there, it's just not the same on screen), I'm loving the full iPad version for gaming.
The entire iBook is filled with hot links and pop ups with stats or generic rule book descriptions, which means that you never have to go hunting for stuff. They're constantly updated with the latest errata and FAQ, so you never forget an important change, and they can even have new units added, such as the SM fliers in the 5th edition codex.
I should point out that the 5th ed SM codex was more like a normal ebook than the more recent ones and although it's good, it just doesn't have the edge of the full featured iBook. If it was my money I'd get the iBook for your prime army(s), but consider the cheaper ebook so for reference on other forces (if you're into that). The ebook is generally the cheapest legal way to get a codex.

I really like the idea of the hotlinks, especially since I'm still so new. Helpful learning/ reference tool.
But I think reading fluff from a physical book is better.
I just can't make up my mind haha.
I'm gonna read some PDFs and make up my mind.
