So this is my first Sisters list (they'll always be Sisters in my head haha). Well, I say first...it's the first one that I'll actually be able to play with - as I actually have the models for this now, and the income to support further models. I've chosen not to field the Living Saint, purely because I never really enjoyed her that much and thought that other things might be more important in a lower point army.

750 Points (746 overall?)

Cannoness - 65

Battle Sister Squad - 99
+ 2 Sisters
+ 1 Storm bolter

Battle Sister Squad - 77
+ 1 Sister
+ 1 Storm bolter

Seraphim Squad 95
Two hand flamers

Dominion Squad - 185
+ 4 meltas
- Repressor

Exorcist - 125

Retributor Squad - 100
+4 heavy bolters

I'd be tempted to change the repressor to an immo and drop the seraphim so you can get immos for your sister squads. Also storm bolters are useless, get Flamers or meltas. Much better way to spend points.

Yeah I was thinking the Storm Bolters weren't really useful. I can easily change them to Flamers though .

The Repressor is mainly for the front armour, it's far better than the Immo's and should mean I can get some hits in with it whilst transporting, or use it to cover my Exorc? I mean I'll run a few tests with it as both and see which works out best (I wont lie, I just love the Repressor model )

I've found Seraphim pretty useful so far, any reason why they are worth dropping?

Well only reason I suggested it was to give your sisters some transport to hide in as small squads foot slogging it won't make it in most cases. Especially if hell drakes are about. The dominions and excorcist are a must so it was the only other unit I could see were you could make cutbacks.

Heavy bolter Retributors aren't really good for their points cost. Dropping them and putting your dominion sisters in an immolator would get you a second exorcist, which is much scarier with AP13 front armor, better range than the bolters, and can pop tanks and monstrous creatures.

I thought everyone said Rets were a good anti-inf, and anti-flier tactic? I'll try em out when I get them anyway though, but I will definitely get a few Immolators when I get paid and try and see how they work in comparison. I was trying to avoid the traditional Transport Rush that Sisters are known for...(especially the horrible Rhino Rush).

I will probably sacrifice my Seraphim and give my Sisters more units (5 each) on top of removing the Storm bolters. That should give them a little more survivability?

Well now that you can take sisters in 5 man squads it's the way forward, stick em in immos and you have cheap 5 man squads with 2 special weapons wearing power armour and in a
Transport that has a heavy weapon. Ownage in a tin

Yeah, it is good. And I do love Immolators haha. I still kinda like the heavy bolters though, a lot of shots, and they aren't *that* expensive?

Personally I love rets, stick a simulacrum and jacobus with them and you have rending for 3 turns a game which is more than enough to pop flyers monstrous creatures vehicles etc.

I think you miscalculated this, should be 89 points, giving you more points to play with

And the squad is 170 points, minimum.

That is true, and maybe an excorcist is the better choice but I think having 3 excorcists can get a little dry sometimes. That's why I switch out to rets every now and then. Don't forget you can take 4 heavy Flamers with them and throw them in an immo too for a awesome ap4 squad.

You could of course just split the heavy bolters among the BS squads rather than take a ret squad that becomes a fire-magnet.

Yeah that's the only way I'd take rets. 4 HF in an immolator. Though that's pretty pricey too. Concidering for the same points you could probably fill up a rhino with Crusaders and Arcos though that faces some problems with delivery as well and you have to hope your crusaders with their 3++ sponge up all the fire that they're going to draw.

See I just didn't want to get stuck with a load of Exorcists...I'm not a proper gamer as such, I like to have fun more than I aim to win ALL the time hence my list was based around having fun as much as trying to compete a bit.

As for the Rets - I think I will stick with Rets in some sense. They just look amazing and I think even if they act as a bit of a shot magnet, that's the same for any of the vehicles too - and if they explode that could kill anything inside anyway?

As for HB or HF in the Sisters squads, I may do that instead of the the storm bolters and stuff (I actually had it in my last list haha).
