Yeah I would drop your overlord as he isn't really necessary. Get a cryptek with the ap1 leadership flamer and put him with the deathmarks. Stick them in a nightscythe and when they come in the deathmarks make him wound on a 2+ So any squad you want to mark dies basically. And try and get a 3rd barge. They are insane

Swap the overlord for another D Lord and put him with the Heavy destroyers!

Deathmarks without crypteks need more numbers to be effective, so maybe add a couple of bodies to them with the spare points.

Interesting with D Lord thought, but not sure that a mellee heavy hitter sits well in that unit. It has a defined function - turn one kill interceptor stuff. Turn two - be something to aim at while all my fliers shoot stuff...

Hey Spanking Ape! You can't have Cryptek's without a regular overlord. Destroyer Lord's can't take royal courts sadly.

Maybe I go with only one HQ and buff the Deathmarks that way AND give them a flyer. Which is better enough than another Ann Barge for the cost of only ten points more.

Hey man, Sounds good to me, gives yourself a delete unit! Also just noticed you can drop a couple of coils off your wraiths as you really only need one or two as the melter attacks which will kill them strike at low initiative anyway.

The purpose of the Dlord is to keep the destroyers alive. Otherwise your 180 point unit has a 3+ save and only 3 wounds.

If all you want is a distraction unit you can take 2 units of scarabs instead. Much better distraction.

Wat? Wraiths have a 3++ and init 2, with 2 wounds. If you charge tac marines, you'll probably lose a wraith cos they strike first. That's 35 pts. Why not spend 10 points to make the oppo strike last?

I can't help but feel even a full squad of death marks isn't going to be terribly effective especially for its cost. It's the flamer that does most of the work generally... I don't know though. If you decide to keep them let me know how it works out.

Although I used to agree with naked wraiths because honestly a tactical squad isn't going to do that much damage to you. Even a full Tac squad is only going to get 5 hits, 2-3 wounds and you should only fail one of those saves. I highly doubt you'll lose a full health wraith from tactical marines. And you will always hit before terminators. It's eh really-what worries me more are the wraith knights that will it first and potentially instagib a wraith plus all other MCs. That's the only reason I'd even consider whip coils. And even now, unless you run against a heavy MC meta I wouldn't bother.
