I am a newish player to Warmachine and looking to change up my 50 point army a bit, so I am hoping to get some feedback so I can better plan what to purchase next.

Right now my 50 point list is

I am doing decently with it, while still getting better with the movement and placement of my army. However, it does seem to be a very close range army and with Kreoss' feat I feel I need a lot more ranged shooting in it. The weakness seems to be against armies with lots of ranged shooting or heavy infantry lists. Part of the issue might still be how I am deploying and moving my troops. Right now I tend to deploy my zealots on one side, redeemer and flameguard in the middle and the rest of the jacks and solos interspersed among my lines depending on what is on my opponents side. Any help with the list or suggestions would be great.

I think in this list the Vanquisher gives me more shooting over the Avatar plus its does not require that much Focus, so Kreoss focus wise, it shouldn't hurt me that much compared to the no focus requiring Avatar. The Errants again gives me more shooting, plus the advance deploy would give the opponent something that can threaten them right off the bat as the rest of my army moves up.
Suggestions and comments would be great thanks.

The only change I would make to list 2 is to drop rhupert and put in the covenant if menoth

Don't have much time to do up a full comment, but I'd say you probably will run into focus problems in your second list. That extra one focus that the Vanquisher often needs will become a problem for you. I'd Suggest Wracks at the very least to help offset that.

You also limit your damage output quite a lot, so it might mean that going up against Colossals or high-arm lists, you might find yourself a little bit short, without the Avatar or Vilmon and friends. It's still got a fair bit of power there, of course, so perhaps it won't be a huge problem for you.
