Think I posted this question in the wrong forum earlier, but here it is:

So I know that the attacks are included in the unit's profile for those that have Scything Talons already, but how about those that switch their Scything Talons for a different set of arms such as Hive Tyrants? Would replacing Scything Talons for a Heavy Venom Cannon reduce the number of base attacks as shown on the profile of the Hive Tyrant from 4 to 3? Do Tyrant Guard who replace their Scything Talons for a Lash whip get reduced from 3 attacks base to 2 attacks base? Thanks.

EDIT: Answered, thank you. - No. Tyranids CCWs only matter for special rules, they're not considered for the number of attacks a model makes. - B0b Marley
