Just a thought about pricing on the battlefront website... I am looking at the 105 box

While the 155 s contain the same while replacing the resin bases with 4 tractors .

The 105s seem to be quite OTT at 75$us

Well, I'd certainly prefer 155mm artillery support, but some lists require you to have 105mm artillery before you can take 155mm artillery.

Some new lists don't require the 105s.

For 105s, the AFAB box is a better buy. 3 M7s and a Observer Sherman for $52, plus 3 M7s is usually enough to allow 155s if there is a prerequisite. A single AFAB section is 170pts

I would prefer Priests over stationary 105s. Not only do they look cooler IMO but they're mobile.

I would buy the 155 if your list permits you to have them without 105s.

Check out the Long Tom models if you want 155s. My local gaming group has no problems we me running Long Toms as 155s (they are really just a slightly different 155 anyway) due to the sexiness factor. The Long Toms are HUGE and depending on where you get them, you can get two boxes cheaper than a standard 155 boxed set.

That is what i did.

I'm liking my 155 kits, they're a bit of a pain to assemble, but it's fun to be assembling something other than craploads of infantry stands and Open Fire! Tanks
