1 = Non-competitive play, gaks and giggles
10 = Tournament winning, game breaking

I would rate this a 3.

Units I would replace: one warlock, atleast 2 wraithlords, the dark reaper exarch needs fast shot and the whole squad needs starshot ammo instead of shuriken cannon, and I would DEFINITELY replace the banshees. Banshees are probably the worst unit in the codex now. I would also replace the falcon.

Your weakness is half of your force is on foot and won't be able to keep up with your tanks. The wraithlords, banshees and dark reapers will probably just be waiting to be picked off. If anything add an aegis defense line.

Fair enough, still said at the heading that i'm not looking for editing suggestions though.

Thanks for the rate.

This eldar army i received a ton of stuff from a friend who mostly had broken eldar and i tried my best to salvage some of them and put them to use. Thus this is what i came up with and this is what i will field when playing Eldar without using a crapload of headless/armless models lol.

So let me clarify for anyone else...i'm not looking to change the list. Take it as is and rate/comment.

1. Tyranids - 15,000 pts
2. Chaos Space Marines - 7,100 pts
3. Space Marines - 6,000 pts

Ok, eldar is my primary army, so I am going to do my best to rate and evaluate and not suggest any changes!

Here goes:

Honestly - I quite like it, and personally can only pick 3 things I would change!

I think you have most infantry armies covered with that level of Shuriken fire! Though I feel the serpents are better on the guardians as they have shorter range. Get them and the avengers in range and along with the serpents that's some serious bladestorm dakka going down!

You seem to have AT covered with the lords. You don't need to worry about their speed with a 36" range! People are going to want to kill them and T8 isn't easy to deal with.

Double farseers are epic with guide and prescience on both! Makes your dakka even worse!

My three issues -the gem is unneeded, and the banshees and falcon are just terrible! I'm assuming the falcon is the banshees transport? Be careful with both of these - they are probably your opponents easiest targets.

That aside I like the list and it's all roundness! Anyway I can persuade you to purchase starshot on the reapers?

I'd go for 6-7/10 with some changes it could be an 8 or even a 9, but I know you don't want to make changes.

You sought to cower behind your walls, weakling? Instead, by the will of Khorne, you shall die behind them

I'd agree with Khaine's Wrath.

6-7.

What's your plan for the banshees?

I honestly have no plans for the banshees as i mentioned I just got most of this stuff for free and just want to play it regardless of how useful it is.

I am aware that the banshees are pretty bad having tried them myself a few times but i've found they work best as a counter-assault unit. So that'll be their role.

I'm not sold on the falcon being terrible, is it the best choice? nope. I wish i had gotten prisms instead (beggars can't be choosers right?) and the exarch on the reapers is equipped with a shuriken cannon not cuz i want to but thats how he's modeled. (old metal ones yuck)

This list is literally using every single thing that's not broken or missing heads/arms.

The starshot I think is worth considering though, it didn't even cross my mind. and comes out to 24 pts which is perfect since i only need to remove the gem.

I added the gem because i had 25 pts left over and couldn't think of anything else better to put it in other than to maybe revive the farseer warlord.

Thanks for that suggestion.

Banshees as counter assault is just about the only viable idea for them I've seen - kep them behind your wraithlords, invite a charge with the lords, then on your turn, counter-banshee them so you go first...

Let me know how the Banshees work out for you

I rate this army as a 4, overall.

In a competitive environment I'd give it a 2, and in certain metas it could achieve a 6 or perhaps a 7.

Here are the drawbacks that have caused the low rating:

1.) Low scoring units
2.) Hard to play units taking up solid points values(Banshees)
3.) Either the Banshees or the Council has to walk, terrible drawback to the list IMO
4.) Without War Walkers, Warp Spiders or more Wave Serpents your anti-air ability is quite lacking for lists with 2 or more strong flyers like Drakes or Vendettas

Here are some reasons it could fair VERY well against certain lists:

1.) 3 Wraithlords and 2 Wave Serpents are a multitude of heavy weapon sponges. They can soak a lot of firepower.
2.) Adequate casting support, with the right rolls you can fair very well.
3.) Eldar, if played right...can counter most things

Ever stopped to consider that perhaps if the OP asks 'not looking for suggestions' that its not a matter of 'hey he's being a douche and not listening to our improvement advice' but more of a 'hey we are being douches and not understanding that the OP is not seeking our well thought out suggestions yet we force them in anyway'

Just saying...it goes a long way to listen first to the person you are trying to help before you insist on helping them.

"Do you need help?" is a perfectly reasonable question prior to helping someone that isn't screaming for help.

Other than that, thanks for replying and rating.

I would rate this an over all 5/10 because half the armies you play will probably not be 4 riptides or metric crap ton of flyers.

I believe if you take the Eldar supplement you will have better options for your characters like you can take a wraith forge stone which on a 3+ you can restore a wound on any wraithlord within a 12" bubble!

This is all IMO so take it as you want i think that any army that is not serpent spam or triple wraith knights is good o play with and fun.

Another 2. Meh, I'll be generous and call it a 3.

Problems I see:

1. Banshees are bad still.
2. Troops are light and half of them are rather fragile.
3. Wraithlords are not as durable as they once were, as everyone is now packing anti-MC stuff.
4. No real reliable way of dealing with enemy Flyers.
5. No last minute objective grabbing (Eldar Jetbikes are superb)
6. Surprising lack of firepower for a 2000 point Eldar list.
