How would you guys rate this list on a scale of 1 to 10.
1 = Non-competitive play, nutss and giggles
10 = Tournament winning, game breaking

Note: Not interested in list editing/advicing. Just opinions and evalutations (rating) on strengths and weaknesses

I went for a 'death' theme here, thus the 'harbingers of death' title of the list. And yes the warriors are vulnerable they'd be in reserves

1 for sure.

Where is your Royal Court? Harbingers of Despair would fit your death theme AND be all broken when attached to Deathmarks... Where are your amazing flying dedicated transports (Nightscythes)? They are a huge advantage for Necrons, and a massive buff to Warrior squads (which are just crappier Tactical Marines otherwise), boosting their durability and mobility. Where are your surprisingly durable Wraiths or deadly Scarabs? Why not Annihilation Barges or Tomb Spiders for Heavy Support?

Why only 30 scoring models at 2000 points?

What would the Destroyer Lord be joined with? Why not drop some destroyers ( even though I love em ) and stick him in a squad of wraiths for some nasty melee goodness?

3, not at all my style. If I were you I would boost the canoptek abilities. You do not have enough mobility. Do you have any immortals? They could be a real boon.

I'm not sure if you guys can read....but the thread clearly says im not interested in suggestions on what to edit change or what not. Dunno how much clearer I can be.

I even went as far as to make a note here (unlike in my other postings) that im following a Death theme.

So let me be even MORE specific if that wasn't enough.

i DO NOT want your suggestions, i will NOT be changing the list. It is what it is, it's built this way because i choose to built it this way. Not every necron list has to be identical to every other necron list, neither do they have to be built for tournament play.

I'm not interested in suggestions because im simply not interested in making it more or less competitive. So if you can comment and rate without feeling the urge to 'advice' on changes, that'd be great. Understood?

The game of 40k is most definetly not a rinse and repeat of the same ol tired list that everyone else plays. I can only imagine that when you guys advice tau, your first recommendation is 4 riptides. Try to first of all read the actual thread and understand what the OP is asking you to help with, and then share your thoughts based on what's asked

1. Tyranids - 15,000 pts
2. Chaos Space Marines - 7,100 pts
3. Space Marines - 6,000 pts
4. Orks - 5,900 pts

6. Necrons - 4,600 pts

9. Blood Angels - 3,200 pts
10. Chaos Daemons - 3,200 pts
11. Tau Empire - 3,000 pts

There's no need to be rude when responding to other posters.

If you're not prepared to take on advice or criticism then the thread doesn't really serve any purpose.

One would suggest you might be better served with a thread in 40k general about themed lists or the like.
