Earlier today while searching for a color scheme for my Dark Eldar army I stumbled across this awesome looking scheme:



As a total noob to painting I have no idea what the paints are called that are used in this scheme so I was wondering if you guys could give me the names of the paints. And maybe even some tips on how to achieve this awesome paint job.

Black, Grey, Red, Bone, gunmetal, tinbitz, oh and flesh! lol
Seriously though, since the current line of GW paints came out I have no clue what they call most of them. I mostly use reaper paints these days since I live close by their factory and can get the paints I need almost anytime.

most of this can be achieved thru line highlighting. an alternate way to do it to dry brush the model to get the grey highlights, then carefully repaint them black leaving the edges grey.

I'd love to know exactly what red that is.... it's very crisp and bright, without crossing the line into circus clown red.

Presuming its a citadel colour.....could be Wazdakka.

Looks to me like Red Gore with Blood Red layered on top. New paints would be Wazdakka Red and Evil Sunz Scarlet.
