Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

With codex: Inquisition on the way, I've started to put together an Inquisitorial element for my GK. What drew me to the army was the complete freedom of modelling and conversion (so far I've use DE, the other DE, and WFB Empire troops, and I'm only 3 days in ). So, Dakka, anyone got any good ideas or examples for -=I=- units, the wackier the better? I'm particularly looking for ideas for Jokeareo and crusdaer ideas. Thanks.

I decided to use Adeptus Mechanicus delegates to represent Jokaero (who's going to improve your weapon more, an Orangutan or a Techpriest?) and my first one was based on this guy:

I left off the bizarre back-pack/generator thing.

I'm with you Paradigm. I'm in full on search mode for models from other ranges, or kit bashing bits to go hog wild on retinues.

I'm currently in search mode for Acolyte bits mostly, I have decided to use Elysian bodies as a base for a special forces esque warrior henchmen and ordered brass etch for Inquisitorial symbols to stick on them.
Currently I have:
4 x Various Power Weapons (fw axe, fw scimitar, fw sword, doteaz's hammer) and 4 x Empire shields (fw) to be given I symbol.
Which will be used to convert 4 elysians to crusaders.
The other 6 Elysian will become warrior acolytes.
Depending on your GS skills the WFB crypt ghouls would be a good basic frame for Jokero if you can sculpt fur over them.
Personally I'm hopeful to find some kind of Psyker basis that isnt Flaggellant based.

Good ideas from those who have posted, keep 'em coming.
So far, I've got:
DCA: DE Wyches/Black Ark Corsairs kitbash.
Crusaders: WFB Empire state troops. Relying on painjob, icons and a few bionics to make them look 40k.
Acolytes: various IG stuff. Some Skaven/Dark Eldar kitbashes for my radical ordo Xenos inq.
Inquisitor: Malleus- CSM Termie lord+bitz.
Couple of other kitbashed Inquisitors.
I like the idea of using Crypt Ghouls (mainly because my local newsagent has them in a 50% off sale ), but I was more thinking of using them for Arco-flaggelants rather than Jokero, as I'm not sure my GS skills are up to the job. Might try it at some point, but I'll need a few and it might be too difficult to keep up quality.
I'm thinking I want to go more counts-as with the apes, and have them as some kind of Ad Mech representatives. Any idea for this? I'd like to avoid Forge World, purely for financial reasons.
I'm going to need a few more acolytes, and while my IG can sub in for now, I need some ideas for what to use eventually. I want to stay away from more mainstream 40k stuff, I'm looking for something a little more Gothic and Grimdark. I've thought about more Empire troops with Bolters/Lasguns, but I'd like something a little more 'out there'.

For the Ad mech, The Necromunda pit slave techo as a place to start. Ebay sometimes will have them for fairly cheap. I've also been working ghouls into arco-flaggelants and guitar strings (fails) and plastic card tubes (stim injectors) seem to work nicely. Was also think Cryx Drudge Grunts may also work.

I've had an idea which you can have if you want it, as the odds of us meeting across a table are fairly slim (unless you're moving to Devon any time soon?)
I originally intended for it to be an IG army concept, but the number of models was a bit off putting, but I think this will suit the numbers more and be easier to achieve while its still fun to do.
A ~21st Century warband. The plan is to use the Dreamforge Eisenkern Stormtroopers as, well, Stormtroopers or whatever the equivalent emerges to be, which will give a slightly futuristic 40K flavour to the look, with various 1/48 scale modern kits as the vehicles (I'm set on Blackhawks as Valk/Vendetta counts as, I think)
It is all a bit half-formed at the moment, so anyone with suggestions, feel free to chime in!

I've ended up repurposing some of my old Feudal Guard concepts as the first 5 warrior acolytes for my Inquisitor. And here is something of a Death Cult Assassin concept:

@Azreal: I'm certainly considering the Dreamforge stormtroopers, but I'm not sure whether they're going into IG or my Inq army. My other IG stuff is pretty futuristic anyway (Mantic/Warzone) so that's looking more likely.
@Melcavuk: That DCA is looking great, I've found that pretty much anything Dark Eldar or Dark/Wood elf works well from them.
