I have never really been one for forums but after hearing a lot about this one I decided to join.

When I was younger I played LordoftheRings and a Napoleonic Wars game (which annoyingly I can not remember the name of). However as I came into adolescence I drifted away from the hobby and sold, broke and lost the majority of my minis. I came back into the hobby during the summer when I found out they had opened a Games Workshop in my home town (Rotherham) and I decided to get some Black Library books to take on holiday with me. Since then I have started playing 40k.

My 40k army is a steampunk themed Imperial Guard, in order to achieve the steampunk look I am using Vostroyans and converted Fantasy Empire figures (e.g a Steam Tank made into a Leman Russ).

I have also taken an interest in Dystopian Wars and so may pursue it if I can find a local store that sells it.
