I got a cool rock wall today from the Model RR store. It's called FlexRock and it's a foam rubber rock face.

I used craft paints to paint the brown, and then drybrush over it. I then put the little tufts on it from Silfor.

I'm very happy with how it turned out. The ground is a "desert sand" small mat from Woodland Scenics.

They make a great backdrop for my photos:

Very cool! The palette used on the figures and terrain means they fit together very convincingly. I think you've got the right balance of realism and high contrast on the figures to make the details pop, and the visors show great technical control.

The grass tufts on the rock wall really do add a lot to the piece, too.

Those look great, the visors look really nice. I don't play 15mm, but have seriously considered picking these guys up.

Thanks guys!

I have a guy working on urban camo versions too, so I'll be posting up some more photos that way, along with my upcoming VTOLs!

Really like the look of those little 15mm guys and you're painting really does them justice.
