Ok, so I'm up making my Christams list, and I need you guys to help me out once again.

I'm slowly building a HH World Eaters army that will also pull double duty as my CSM army in 40K.

I'm trying to figure out how best to represent the World Eaters Legion from immediately after the dropsite massacre to right before they split up and started only being random warbands. I have about 30 FW Khorne Berzerkers with plenty of World Eaters stuff all mixed in. I'm planning on adding some regular bolter marines to that in addition to some 30K era vehicles, Agron and a rampager squad or two.

My questions:
1) What color would their armor be? Would it be a blood caked white and blue or would it all be the straight gory red?
2) How much Khorne Iconography would be on the average guy? When did they start worshipping khorne?
3) What would you purchase for such a project!

Thanks in advance!

One of them filthy casuals...

1) I would still be painting them white with more gore and blood on them, heavy weathering scraps, chips and of course more gore.

2) I wouldn't put any Khorne iconography on as of yet as I believe in the fluff it was only after many years they started to adapt there armour to incorporate it but I could be wrong.

3) the great thing about World Eaters is that anything goes , although they are mainly a boots to the ground type army it's noted numerous times that they are also very capable at adapting to any type of warfare.

So the question really is what are you lacking in?

Cheers
