So just got back re-acquainted with 40k, still learning the ropes! Me and my fiance just bought a house out in Sykesville, MD (Im from Baltimore, which i assume is where most people in MD play). Looking for a game! In the process of converting my shed out back to a full-on workshop if need-be. Just built a 2ft x 4ft table for starter's but looking to add another 2ft x 4ft section as well as some terrain!

That is awesome! There's some decent stores to play at in MD, although you're in a bit of an odd direction to get to them. Shed workshop sounds sweet

Ah, well if you work in Odenton you're quite close to 2 really good stores!

Games and Stuff:
http://www.gamesandstuffonline.com/

Dropzone Games:
http://www.dropzone-games.com/

Just drive up 97 and you can get to either one . Looks like Games and Stuff opens at 10am weekdays, whereas Dropzone Games opens at noon. No store on the planet is going to stay open late enough for you to game after getting off at 11pm, though

They both also have different weekend hours so if you were thinking of checking one out on a non-workday make sure to verify the hours at one of the sites above.

Of the two, Dropzone Games will have a MUCH bigger 40k crowd, whereas Games and Stuff has a whole range of things that are frequently played (and both have a decent Warmachine player base).

Yes, Dropzone Games is conveniently in the old GW Bunker location, and actually run by the same manager as was there towards the end! It's great for 40k and you can also use 3rd party models there (it's actually encouraged). So, win-win.

I think they'll be happy to and can probably point you towards the best time to come to try to find a 40k opponent, and if they have any kind of league going on now or soon, etc. I just wish I was closer to this store, but I work all the way out in Frederick so there's no chance for me to make it in on a weekday!

Ahh yes, my parent's live in Woodbine which is up rt. 70 toward's frederick. I found a shop in Westminster which was perfect for me, but by the time me and my fiance moved here the shop was long gone lol. Ah well, my fiance was nice enough to let me turn the living room into my football man cave, and the shed to my 40k man-cave. I got no complaints lol.

If your off day is always Wednesday, maybe consider checking out Dream Wizards in Rockville, MD, for their miniatures night. Its probably a bit of a drive for you but I definitely recommend checking it out at least once. They've got a thriving 40k crowd, lots of Warmahordes, as well as some WHFB, Infinity, Dropzone, etc. Check out the Beltway Gamers website if you want to schedule a game http://beltway-gamers.com/forums/, they're the group that most often plays there.
