I'm part of a small warhammer group and have wanted to play a campaign for ages and so finally got round to organising it myself. The way i thought of doing it was as a series of individual small battles with a couple of special rules or objectives. The group is split into two teams and everyone plays the same scenario each week. which ever team wins the most battles of each scenario get a small bonus in a final big battle involving everyone. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice and/ or ideas for scenarios.

so far I've got:
moon battle - all infantry move like jump, and all attacks are rending. The bonus is the team controls a cargo transporter that so can deep strike a single unit that usually couldn't. objective based
Supply ambush - one side has to get supply tanks to the opposite side of the board. for every tank that gets across (hopefully have 3) the team can fire a "big gun" in the final battle which you drop a peace of paper and where it lands a large blast.
reconnaissance - kill team to decide who deploys and goes first
air superiority - not sure how this will work yet but something to do with flyers.

Any advice will be appreciated

haha timing Just asked for campaign help too, albeit different needs entirely i think. In the 6t edition rule book their is a 2D6 chart for interesting rules to use during a campaign battle.

I still think it would be cool to integrating DOW style resource points for catoring certain objectives. (at the end of the game holding a relic gives you a special 1 use attack in your next game or whatever)

Alternative game table rules are in the BRB somewhere. i think it included low grav rules.

Its only in the BIG book IIRC. the small only has the eternal crusade rules.

I swear the rules for campaigns have just gotten worse with each passing edition. They spend less and less book space on it every time a new rulebook comes out.

Like watching other people play video games (badly) while blathering about nothing in particular? Check out my Youtube channel: joemamaUSA!
