So... anyone know what happened to the Necron Tombworlds that happened to be where Eye of Terror exists?

Tell me if I'm wrong but... wouldn't Necrons be pretty much immune to the warp?

1. They are "soulless"
2. Immune to corruption, daemonic possession and whatnot
3. They hate the warp with passion
4. Cadian Pylons!
5. Pariahs....? (Are they even still cannon?)

Also, if daemons start rampaging on the surface, I'm pretty sure a bunch of pissed-off Necron Overlords would be disturbed. So what... exactly happened?

I don't have the book with me but there is some fluff of some necrons awakening on their planet to find out... something was wrong. They go to the center to discover their planet has become the abode of a daemon prince, hell breaks loose and chaos whistles joyously or something along those lines (seriously anybody with the actual quote do please come xD)

Cadian pylons were partly activated, thats why the eot is the size it is and their tomb complexs would just be destroyed due to tectonic plates moving, otherwise they might be their but since time is different in the warp they may not awaken.

Oh I was sleepy xD. But there is fluff of necrons discovering their planet has become a daemon world where logic is rebuked and the walls claose behind you on the whim of the lord of the planet

Well the Lords have souls and the rest have some remnants - if you have emotions and wants (which Necron Lords do) - you can be corrupted - Chaos can offer them a return to biological form - the Necron Codex states that those Necrons dmaged (or corroded too much) are reduce dto energy so they are not immune to physcial damage / corruption - just incredably resistant.

If their world is in the Eye of Terror - the Choas Powers may attempt to shape it and its inhbitants to their own desires - its possible they could resist but not certain...............

Its likelty the Necrons will simply try to relocate to a more secure location.

No Necron has a soul. Necron Lords and Overlords have their Personality intact, but every single Necron has lost their soul.

The personality of the necrons could probably be thought of as a program more than a soul, I think. I could be wrong.

Of course, Chaos can corrupt AIs but presumably far as I know the necrons are even more soul-less than that. No possible machine spirits at work here! Again, I could be wrong.

Machines have no soul or warp signature.

No warp signature, no desires, no corruption.

We could all learn a thing from the Necrons.

Incorrect, as the denizens of the Warp are ancient enemies of the Necrons. The dimension-hopping, phase-shifting abilities of the Necrons, according to their own Codex, introduces the Daemon to "new flavors of Reality to corrupt".

You do not need a soul to be Corrupted by the Daemon, for a Tank has no soul, being just a machine, but can be daemonically-possessed and turned into an amalgamation of machine and warp-born flesh. Necrons, too, cannot repair themselves quickly enough when exposed to enough of the raw power of Chaos, and must either phase out or risk being turned into Spawn.

Necron Lords, indeed, any Necron with a personality, definitely have desires and goals. These, too, can be used by the Ruinous Powers.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Necrons don't have souls. Those were expressly removed during the apotheosis to feed the C'Tan.

As robots, they suffer the whims of chaos but are normally invisible to it. They don't have a soul so they don't stand out, and daemons need some assistance in finding them. They can be corrupted, both the STC on the forgeworld sucked into the warp and the men of iron confronted by Gaunt had been corrupted by chaos.

A tombworld could be corrupted by the powers of the warp, but a deamon would have to know it was there, and overcome the defenses left in place by the Necron. Pylons, dimension shifting barriers and hyperspace refuges are common amongst the tomb complexes.

They don't need souls. Chaos can corrupt rocks, dirt, earth, empty space, machines, toys, thoughts, books, paper, words, letters, concepts...

... Souls are not needed by Chaos.

Fortunately, in the case of Cadia, the Imperium has done most of that work for them already. You know why these defenses exist in Tomb complexes? Because the Old Ones, using the Warp, wrecked their gak. The Necrons are a Warp-adverse race, because the first several times they interacted with it, it messed them up real bad. Then they threw away their entire culture and civilization to fight it, sort of won (though they came no closer to really understanding it) and are still really freaked out by it.
