Hey guys, I've been playin orks for my whole career as a 40k player (like 5 years) and I've always loved the story of Great Boss Tuska, so I got the idea, Lets try and make a model that looks like him. So I was brainstorming about how to go about making him, I luckily just got another aobr warboss and he is screaming convert me so I was thinking of using him as my starting point, might get another warboss to start with, idk, so from what I read, he has a choppa and a power claw so gotta make sure those are on the model, next, he has a big set of horns from the big demon-thing he killed, I was thinking of either having them on like a boss pole or kind of like Gorgutz has them, like a (horned helmet), since it says in the book he straps on his powerclaw, im guessing he doesn't have mega armour (its attached to the suit) so we are looking at eavy armour prob, so those are my thoughts so far,

what I need help with:

what head should I start with, I think he would prob look better without a helmet, maybe a bionic eye, I don't know if I want to use the aobr head, I've already used it in my army, I want to make him look unique

what pose should he be in, I was thinking like some sort of fighting pose and making a display board for like tournaments with him battling a khorne daemon prince

should he have a gun in his hand and the choppa it mentions in the book on his side or his back?

what color scheme or clan should I paint him up with, when I read it, I just kind of imagined him majority red with black (not evil sunz though)

what aspect can I put on this model to make people know it is tuska the daemon killa just by looking at it?


I want this model to scream awesome (and waaaagh ) and just pour all my conversion skills into it (the aspect I excel at) what ideas do you guys have

So, I posted this and got the inspiration to start lol, so I've been going through my bitz, How does the grimgor ironhide head sound? its a bit small but I think I can make it look bigger

alright new idea, the nob head in the tank bustas kit, it is hardly ever used, it is big enough for a warboss, all I have to do it cut the rokkit out of its nouth, should be pretty easy
