I'm mulling over how to approach the daemon side of the build. I already have most of the CSM primary detachment but I'm wondering how effective my extremely aggressive daemon side will be before I go all in.
At 2000 points, the list looks something like this.
Daemon Prince, MOT, Wings, Power Armor, Black Mace
Chaos Lord, MoK, Axe of Blinding Fury, Juggernaught, 4++
20 CSM, 2 Melta guns, 19 CCWs, MoS, IoE
10 Cultists
5 Spawn
Heldrake, Baleflamer
Heldrake, Baleflamer
Skarbrand
20 Daemonettes
20 Seekers
The idea is that Skarbrand gives hatred and rage to 40 Daemons of Slaanesh who then go around rending everything to death. The Spawn + Juggerlord are also a part of the main wave. Heldrakes come next. The cultists hang back on an objective and the 20 CSMs are the weight of my assault as they finish off any units left from the onslaught. I'll lag back a 'tail' of each daemon unit to remain within 12" of Skarbrand for as long as possible. It's not very fluffy... but I'm going to take the Angron model for Skarbrand anyway and represent daemonettes and seekers with the witches and the new horseriders from the Dark Elf range. I figure they're kind of like the warsingers from the series... this is all pre-heresy btw... as much as I can make it.
Thoughts?
