I was working painting on my Hive Tyrant when I notices I missed a piece! A little piece at the hilt of the bone sword. I have already painted a bit of the model so I cant just glue it on an spray prime it. My local gaming store sells GW paint but they only have black paint on primer and I need white. Is there a brand of white paint on primer that will work well (and if so where can I get it?) Or could I use the GW black paint on primer and paint on a few layers of white paint to cover it (I am uses a sepia wash over a white to get my base color).

Or is there some other option that would be better?

Vallejo makes bottles of primer that can be either brushed on or applied with an airbrush. See if any local stores carry Vallejo paints. It's still an acrylic so it cleans up with water like GW paints.

Personally if I where you I would just put some regular GW white paint on it and say done. Unless it's a high wear point there isn't much to be worried about.

If you are really worried you can drill it as if you where going to pin it, stick a long wire in the pin hole (2" or so), spray it with a regular can holding the wire in your fingers, then cut the wire down and super glue it onto the model in the corresponding pin hole.

Thanks, it is not in a wear point so I might just do two coats of white and wash over it.

Thanks again!
