Hello everyone,

I've been slowly painting through my army and was mewling over the idea of picking up a spray gun and compressor to speed things up and to also look into some of the different methods out there. I was wondering if anyone out there had any experience with them and what advice they could spare my way. Like which is the best for an affordable price? Which are best to stay away from and how well do others work with citadel paints? Any feed back on this would be appreciated.

Depends what you want to use it for?

- Priming?
- Basecoat?
- Gradiant?
- Shading?
- Fine work?
- All of the above?

What budget do you have for this endeavour?

Note that spray gun and airbrush can be 2 different things.

If you want to be able to do just about anything, might be good idea into looking for an airbrush with interchangeable needle/nozzle.

Paint is paint. Nearly all paints can work with an airbrush if they are properly thinned with the right solution. The exception being Citadel Metallics.

There is no magic manual for paint it's alot of trial and error. What works for one paint brand might not for another.

The two vids will help....but also, do a search "airbrush" or "airbrush recommendations" or "what airbrush to buy".

This question LITERALLY comes up about every 10-12 days.

You will find tons of resources on it and great advice.

If you don't want to do that then;

Get a patriot 105 from amazon.
Get a cheap airbrush compressor from harbor freight.

best of luck!
