I've just recently gotten back into the game, so I don't really know what are the competitive lists out there. So I know many people will ask "how are you going to deal with the fluverbacker list??" or "how are you going to deal with ANY list?" I know that BT aren't really very competitive, but I'm just trying to make a BT list as threatening as possible.

You can see from the list that all the squads are just taking las/plas. I haven't really figured out which weapons to take, so right now that's just the default.

The idea is to have a solid gunline at 1000pts, by taking 6 identical minimal squads fielding 1 heavy, 1 special and 1 ranged weapon each.



In terms of strategy, I don't really have one besides find cover and shoot anything that moves....

Any help would be appreciated!!!

The first point I would make is you should move the combi plasma from the devastator sergeant to your captain as the sergeant can use his shooting attack to boost one of the lascannons. I would be tempted to add an agis defense line for the cover save and anti air of a quad gun (also gives your captain something to do).

Also looking at the list the imperial fist chapter tactic would seem to fit the gun line theme better.
