It's been the one thing stopping me from buying him, the uncertainty.

The Lucius Pod, in the current IA book says that it is "a dedicated transport for any Imperial Dreadnought( including the Contemptor Dreadnought)"

Bray'Arth is listed as http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Downloads/Product/PDF/C/Charcterupdate.pdf

Unit Composition: 1 Unique

Ok, so that doesn't help him.

Then in his rules he has 2 Dreadnought close combat weapons, Venerable Dreadnought rules, and Wrought by Vulkan. All 3 point to him being a Dreadnought, with Wrought by Vulcan specifically calling it a Dreadnought chassis.

What do you guys think? I think both RAI and RAW he can, but them listing his comp as "unique" is throwing me.

EDIT: Though not everyone takes emails seriously, I did receive a fast reply to my question.

Bray'Arth is a special character dreadnought so he is allowed to take the Lucius Pod.

So he it's the Salamander version of Bjorn?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Well Other than older codexes, I dont think there is a unit type "dreadnought" and its implied its a venerable dreadnought of the imperial side.

HIWPI: Id let you put him in a L pod.

Basically, he's a short ranged version of Bjorn.

True, hadn't thought of that. The new C:SM has composition listing them as "Ironclad Dreadnought" etc, but not type. I really hate vague rules.

EDIT: Forgeworld Replied to me

I am glad that ForgeWorld answers questions, it allows us to get the correct interpenetration when the rules might not be so clear....
