I've been playing Eldar for a little bit now and the army list i've found to be the most effective is to be focused around the Vauls Wrath Support platform, while using a farseer with the two free re-roll pyskic basics, and the rest is more tailor for what i verse.
farseer
w/ singing spear
105 pts
3 Vauls Wrath support battery ,Vibro
6 guardian crew members
90 pts
3 Vauls Wrath support battery, Vibro
6 guardian crew members
90 pts
3 Vauls Wrath support battery, Vibro
6 gaurdian crew members
90 pts
10 dire avengers
130 pts
10 guardians
w/ Shuriken cannon
105
From Here on i start to change the list to suit what I'm versing, this is what i brought against a friends chaos marine Khorne army.
10 warp spiders
w/ exarch (twinlinked spinner)
205 pts
9 jet bikes
w/ 3 cannons
183 pts
total: 998 pts
the main part of the army is the support batteries protected by the offensive guardians and avengers and what ever i bring to count my opponent, this keeps them safe from assault.
as the batteries basically can't die to shooting, as they have the artillery rule the 6 crew members are T 7 so no bolters are going to be killing them, but they was dead in the assault, but because most of my opponents bring vehicles and heavy infantry (terminators,Riptides, rhinos, vindicators ) my vibro cannons kill them because i make the farseer take the two re-roll primaris powers of runes of fate and divination, making at least 1 set to get the 3 strength 9 AP 2 as they all hit.
the reason in taking the large spider squad and jet bikes were because i knew i could cripple his vehicles with the vibro cannons leaving him trying to catch what he just cant reach.
but this would be different to every army, like wraith guard if i knew he liked to bring the flamethrower land raider. or swooping hawks against tau with lots of fire warriors for the grenade packs.
so that's my Eldar army, i would really like to hear some feedback on it for improvement and tips. Thx.
