Hello all!

Here is my attempt at making the most disgusting list possible(if I failed miserably please hold back you laughter and preserve my tau soul). But the goal is to have a really competitive list that will shine when played correctly, and if necessary I can modify the list to water it down a bit so I don't lose friends. Here we go:

Farsight

O'Vesa

Buffmander w/ M3S, Penchip, CCN, NJ, OG,drone control, VRT, 2 marker drones

Rippy w/ HBC, SMS, VT, Talisman, TLock

3 Crisis Suits w/ bonding, 3 TL plasma, 2 flamers, 1 VRT

10 Kroots

10 Kroots

3 Broadsides w/ bonding, TL missiles, TL smarter missiles, all VT

1 Broadside w/ bonding, missile junkie, drone control, 2 marker drones

So the plan is simple, just like all the other cookie cutter Tau list right now the Buffmander will go with O'Vesa and his riptide bro and rock the party all night long. If I meet longfangs or anything of that sort that will kill the broadsides easily, I will let O'Vesa join them turn 1 to maybe turn 2 to kill what needs killing first. The riptide's main duty is anti-tank/AA as HBC really earned its place in my heart in my few games when I used it, IA just can't compete with it in terms of tank hunting; especially when the buffmander is back-seat-shooting.

The reason I have 3 AA-sides is because in my meta there are a LOT of air calv players, and I want to show them how Tau welcome aliens(well...to us they are aliens). The lone broadside act as an extra fire base that can put out more marker light if needed, and really, I want to take him because he comes with the "Tau Firebase Support Cadre" box.

Let me know what you think! Help me bring this list to a higher TFG level

Thanks and cheers! (For the greater good!)

The challenge: in a 1500pt game I will play 900pt + D6x100 pts, if I roll a 6 I reroll and -100 to that second number (down to 1000pt minimum)

Very solid.

I think you are better off with two Broadsides, VT optional, and a Skyray in stead. Spend the different on some ablative drones.

Thanks for the input, I will play test with a skyray instead of the broadsides once I have one available.
